Lion Habitat at the MGM GrandLion Habitat at the MGM Grand Average User Rating: (0 votes, add your vote or comments) The Lion Habitat at the MGM Grand is one of the top attractions in Las Vegas. When not on display at the MGM, the lions reside on an 8.5 acre ranch 12 miles away. There are 31 lions in all, but only a few will make an appearance at the exhibit at any time. At the MGM Habitat, you are separated from them by a mere one and one-half inches of glass. You may chance across a presentation, which is dependent mostly on their mood. You may also see them at play or being fed by their trainers. Hours of Operation are 11am - 10pm, daily. Admission is free.
