The Museum of the American CocktailThe Museum of the American Cocktail Average User Rating: (0 votes, add your vote or comments) Where else would you find a museum to Cocktails but in Las Vegas? Actually, the museum did originate in New Orleans (that other 'fun' city) but was relocated to Las Vegas after Hurricane Katrina. The Museum of the American Cocktail will tell you everything you never knew about cocktails with 200 years worth of timeline and memorabilia. The museum offers a "Mixology Seminar Series" with rotating topics presented by world-renowned mixologists Francesco Lafranconi and Dale DeGroff.. The Commanders Palace will serve a specialty six-course cocktail dinner featuring items like Creole-spiced Gulf shrimp, Louisiana crawfish ceviche and wild honey-lacquered Drambuie Drunken Quail. The Museum of the American Cocktail is located at the Commander's Palace restaurant inside the Desert Passage mall at the Aladdin Resort & Casino / Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino.
